OPHTHALMOLOGIST
Ophthalmologist is a medical doctor who after doing his MBBS specializes in eye. He is the proper person to examine your eyes, diagnose & treat eye disorders and diseases. He also prescribes corrective glasses and contact lenses. He is only personnel authorized to do surgeries. Because of his medical training he examines the eye in relation to general health and condition of the body.

OPTOMETRIST
Optometrist Is a person qualified to prescribe glasses and contact lenses. He is not supposed to treat eye diseases or operate on eye.

OPTICIAN
Optician is skilled personnel to make glasses.
